Life's Simple Lessons

AC for newsletter
Some of life's simplest lessons are the most difficult to follow through on.

Love One Another:  We have a tendency to love only those who appreciate us.  Why is it so hard to love someone who does not love us?

Stay In The Present Moment:  This is the only place change will occur.  And yet we consistently fill our present moments with Fear, Worry, Reactions, Expectations, and Judgment.

It Matters Not What Others Say About You, What Matters Most Is What You Say About Others:  If we learned to hold our tongue and not react to what is being said, we would be in control.  But we don't.  We Judge, Criticize, Condemn, Attack, Disrespect, and Humiliate.  Even those we love.

The Fire We Feed Is The One That Will Continue To Burn:  Whining & Complaining will never change our situation.

You Can Never Change Another Person, You Can Only Change Yourself:  How much time, money and energy is spent because we are upset that someone is not doing what we want them to do?

Every Master who has walked this planet has given a set of guidelines for us to follow.  From the ten commandments, to the Buddhist path of enlightenment.
The task of Humanity is to raise our consciousness and follow the simplicity of the guidelines set before us.  Easier said than done.

warmly,
Ann-Marie
