OK, so there is You, and there is your Ego.
Start by giving your Ego a name.
Then take a step back and observe.
Is it you or your ego who is saying that, doing that, thinking that?
Chances are it's your ego.
Chances are if it were you, you would be doing things differently.
Take a few minutes each day during the first week to regain control of your thoughts.
In the second week do this for five minutes each day.
In the third week make it 3o minutes each day. This is easy, just break it up into 3 10 minute blocks 3 times a day. Do it once in the morning, once around mid day and once before you go to bed.
By the end of the month there will be a significant change in who is in charge of you and your thoughts.
Look at this as something that's easy to do and it will be.
Once this is the norm, you being the one in control of what you think changing other areas of your life will be simple.
