I have read that in order to have something you must first BE the one who has it.
This means that you must first act as though you already are in possession of what it is that you want.
Then, concentrate your thoughts for at least 30 minutes each day on thinking of yourself as the person you intend to become.
The reason behind concentrating for 30 minutes daily is that any persistent thought eventually will be come your reality.
Take a few minutes and think about that.
I am sure you will discover that the things that dominate your thoughts are what you currently have in your reality today.

Try it for 30 days.
Make sure that you really intend to BE the one who has whatever it is that you want.
And see where you are at the end of the month.
