Originally your ego was your servant; looking out for your and keeping you safe. As time went on your ego took hold of the reigns and created a reality that was based on an assumption about you that was made when you lacked the life experience to make that choice.

BE consciously aware of your thoughts. If you spend most of your day dwelling on things in the past or worrying about things that may happen in the future... well your ego is the one running the show and your life will continue down the path you are currently on.

The NOW is all we truly have.
Live in the NOW and you will take back the reigns.
You will put your ego back where it belongs.
